Rethabile Modise
An information System's Honours Student from the university of Cape Town, who is enthuastic about developement and analysis. I bring knowledge of multiple programming languages gained in my undergraduate years and versatile personality to learn new skills, project management and business process skills that I acquired through being a team player, and also by mentoring other Information Systems projects. I am looking to advance a career in the IT field.
For CSC3003S UCT Course, me and my team members developed a Django app for the Centre of Artifical Intelligence and Research at the university of Cape Town. The functional requirements of the project focused on performance, availability and usability. THE non functional requirements involved re-usability, safety, security and mainOteinablity. In high level, we were required to create a Content Management System that allows different users to perform functionalities not limited to uploading their research paper, adding a group from the university node, adding users to the systems and giving these users different functionalities. The chosen stackwas chosen because django already has anhn open source CMS Framework, and we used that as a blueprint.
I was a mentor for third year Information Systems Students. I was aiding them with their project, and was the main point of communication between the sponsors and the teams the project was abouts business analysis and the students had to gather requirements from the client, the problem and utilize software development principles and ethics to carry out the project
I have tutored several high schoolers nationaly in person or remotely, susbjects such as Mathematical literacy, English home language, and Physical Sciences
